| The United States Army Field Band gave an outstanding 90 minute performance as part of the 2011 Hamden Volunteer Firefighters' Fireworks display on Friday night July 1st. Click on the photo at left to view a copy of the program of musical selections that were performed that night.

| During the intermission, HVFF Committee member, Nancy Olson, presented the band's commander and conductor, Colonel Thomas H. Palmatier, with a quilt from the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
